TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That will round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
