Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would make the platform set when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
